I founded this company because of my desire to help some of the agents that I’ve worked with over the years.  As a broker, often times agents came to me wanting to get out of the business – sometimes only temporarily – in order to take another job, stay at home with the kids, or whatever.  They wanted the ability to maintain their license in an active status, but did not want to have to pay office fees, board dues, E&O fees, etc.  They also expressed concern about leaving their past loyal clients with no one to take care of their real estate needs.  These agents had worked for their license and had invested both their time and money to achieve it.  They did not want to have to place their license back with the Real Estate Commission in an ‘inactive status’ since that would prohibit them from earning any potential referral commissions.

After researching alternatives, the only way I found to help the agents and reduce monthly fees was to open a new company that would enable agents to ‘park’ their real estate license. Needless to say, investing in a new company in this economy,  was a huge risk.  After many prayers and much soul searching, Agent to Agent Referral Realty was created.

Agent to Agent Referral Realty is a licensed real estate company in the State of Georgia.  The company acts as a ‘holding’ company only. It does not belong to any MLS organizations, boards, etc.  Thus, we are able to keep the annual fee low and affordable.  It is designed to give agents the flexibility to maintain their license as active so that they can decide how they want to manage their real estate career without it being a financial burden.

One final note, since I am also a working broker for my traditional real estate company – DK Atlanta & Associates –  I do not have the need, nor the desire, to take a large split of your referral fees.  Your referral fees are yours – Agent to Agent Referral Realty receives only 5% to cover administrative costs – 95% of every referral fee is yours to keep!
